already.

Alright, here I sit. I'm over a week writing on here. Diet and exercise aren't the only things I'm going to have to get better at. ;)

I spent the first of last week at my mom's helping her get her new house together. After a week of being there, I think we finally got it going. I'm glad to be back home with my family.

This week has started out okay. Rather uneventful. Already.

Brent decided tonight was a good night for a haircut from yours truly. So as I was buzzing away on the front porch, Jace was jumping in his jumper. (we decided that this is rather hillbilly of us) Good boy. But, for some reason the jumper gave out and little Monster Jace went crashing to the ground. I'm a paranoid parent so I run to save him only to find that he has scratched up his toes and slammed his little head into the steel pillar and then into the concrete. It took him a minute but he let out a horrible scream. Even made me want to cry. Brent looked it over and decided that the "dent" would be better if it got a look at from a professional. We busted it to the ER. We were the only ones there so they saw him right away. After being seen we were given our options and were told to watch him for 24 hours. I think he'll be just fine. As for the jumper...it's toast.

On the ride home Reagan, Jace, and myself were in the backseat talking. The police were patrolling pretty heavily and had just pulled someone over in front of our house. Brent made a comment about the "speeders" and Reagan piped up that she was scared of "peeders". Ha. Brent then made the comment, "Keep it that way forever!" Oh geez...here we go.

After we were home and over the "peeders", Brent and Jace took a shower. Jace absolutely loved it. He couldn't figure out why he couldn't catch the water. Very cute. Don't worry, I have it all on video.

Now off to bed. Goodnight all.

a few of my favorites

Brent...it says it all. He's my best friend. There are few people in this world that rank with him. We've been together for 6 years now. We've been married for 5 years in August. He's one of those boys that you "just know" is right for you.
Reagan and Jace are some of the "few people" that rank with Brent. Reagan is our 3 year old and absolutly beautiful. She is in preschool and learns something new everyday. Her new goal in life is to be a barrel racer. Go baby go.
Jace is 7 months and the happiest baby I've ever met. He smiles all the time. He's got one tooth and he's not afraid to use it. Jace loves his Reagan. He's constantly watching her and laughing at her. They are best friends.
We are very family oriented. In our spare time we like to go down to the "old fishing hole" and fish. The coolest place ever. You can throw bread in the water and the fish come right up. Reagan loves it. Anything she can do with her dad is okay with her.
May 6th is another important day for me. My birthday. I love it so much that I usually celebrate for about a week. This drives my husband crazy.
This is me. I hate diet and exercise. I'm trying to get better about it, but for some reason I keep getting drug back down.
Another favorite of mine is Harry and the Henderson's. This has been my favorite movie for as long as I can remember. I always wanted to be a part of this family. Ha.
My family and friends-one in the same. I wouldn't be the person I am now without any of them. I share my story with all of them and they all play their special role. Thank you to you all.

week 2

okay, so I've been a week now and haven't done anything on here. I'm wondering if this is going to benefit anyone...maybe just make me feel better for making an effort.

this week has been a crazy one. let me embellish

Sunday: church at the 1st Baptist here in Weatherford. I don't like the music but I am liking the preaching. However, I can't see myself staying there and fully enjoying it if I'm not happy with all of it.
We left there and headed for El Reno. Went to church at Heaston. (very comfy here) We ate lunch at the church. They were having their annual get together to raise money for Relay for Life.
Brent did some electrical work for my aunt so we spent the afternoon there. I gave 3 pedicure and a manicure. Even though we worked all day I still had fun. Aunt Lindy always has a way of making her house a home away from home.

Monday thru Thrusday are kind of a blur. The week went so fast. Reagan got to go home with a new friend from school one day. Miss Isabella and Reagan have become quite close in the 2 1/2 months we've been here.

Friday: Brent's boss was out of town with his family so he gave Brent the day off. YAY!! We decided to go to OKC to visit with my mom and we had a family birthday party to attend on Saturday evening. We tried to get together with Troy and Jana but things didn't fall in place. Maybe another day. My mom is buying a new house so we are helping. I'm "telling" her where I think things should go. Because what I think matters...right? Brent helped hang ceiling fans and new light fixtures. Go Brent!!

Today is Saturday. We are now in the not so quiet of our home. While we listen to the drain clank outside, Brent is reading a magazine and I am here. Jace is in bed crying...trying to save himself from bedtime. Reagan already given up the fight up.

We are tired so I'm going to close now.

Goodnight.

day 1--saturday

okay, so i had this hot idea that i would start a blog for family and friends that are not so close so they would know what goes on here in the everyday world of the 4 rosies.

where to start? i'll start with today...that sounds like a good place.

B Thomas worked today then did a small side job for a friend. this brings the song "money, money" to mind. haha

the kids and i started out like we start every other morning. jace was "talking" to himself in his bed while reagan told me over and over again, "it's wakeup time. the sun is up. time to get out of bed, mom" man how i would have loved to stay in my nice warm bed all day long.

we got brent off to work, then for some insane reason i got the wild hair to clean the house. i don't mean just "clean", i mean "CLEAN" i went over the base boards, cleaned the ceiling fans, cleaned the furniture. i did it all!! the house we live in is quite small for the 4 of us, so anything that is left out, makes the house look like a tornado struck. there were toys, shoes, clothes, and even some left over food. GROSS!!

now i'm guessing that we are off to bed soon. brent has already found his way there. no, the kids aren't in bed yet. that's another one of those "mom will do it" things. why does it always work like that? ho-hum.

we are trying out the first baptist church tomorrow. new for us. still trying to find a "home". we'll get there.

goodnight.

love,

mom of the 3 other rosies
